There were just a few months left before the XXI International Conference on Climate Change in Paris. Thousands of social entities and hundreds of governments and institutions around the world mobilized to curb climate change. Here, in Spain, the objective was to mobilize and raise awareness among citizens about the impact of climate change on their own lives.
Teloprometo.org was not a website to petition, it was a platform where parents and children pledged to each other to fight climate change, promising to carry out, every day, simple actions. Turning off the faucet while brushing your teeth, turning off the lights when you leave a room or forgoing the elevator in favour of the stairs, for example. We thought, who better than our children to hold us accountable for the future of our planet? And vice-versa. The pledge people took became a game and after 21 days it became a habit making.
